Get to know Riley
Hello there, My name is Riley and I consider myself to be one lucky kitten. I was found hiding in a garage with a partially crushed paw that was very infected. I had to have two toes removed, but now I am fine. My foot is completely healed and you would never know anything had happened by looking at it.
I am playful and love to snuggle. At first, I may be a little shy because I need to learn to trust you, but then I will smother you with love. I thoroughly enjoy head rubs and strokes on my back. I like to play with mice, string toys, and jingling balls. I am good at using my litter box and am learning to use only the scratching posts and cardboard scratchers for my claws. When I first meet other cats, I hiss up a storm, but shortly there after, I play with them and get along with everyone. I am even learning to get along with the big dog at my house. She was about 20 times more than I do, so it’s normal for me to be a bit cautious. If she’s laying down, I walk and play right near her, but when she stands up, she looks like the Jolly Green Giant!! I keep my distance until she sits down again. I’m sure with time I will like her sitting or standing. My life got off to a rough start, but with your help the rest of it can be divine! Won’t you come meet me and give me a forever home.
