Get to know Takoda

Hello future cat companions,

My name is Takoda.  It’s a native American name for “little friend to all”.  It fits me well.  I get along with everybody (human and feline).  My foster mom got me when I was dropped off at the shelter and I was only 10 days old.  I had to be bottle fed for three weeks and then I learned to eat kitten food.  I have always been a good eater.

I am a feisty little kitten with tons of energy.  I love to chase after toys on strings or laser lights.  I love to tackle my favorite Snoopy toy and my squeaky cactus.  I have a great time playing with the track ball and batting at dangling toys.  I use my energy to run up and down the cat tree and I love to use it for stretching and scratching too.  I am super playful with my feline friends too.  My mom says it’s a good thing there are four of them so I can take turns pouncing on one after another.  When one gets tired, I have three more choices.  It’s like heaven on Earth!

When I’m not pouncing and wrestling, I like to have an enclosed area to sleep in.  I have a soft cozy bed in an enclosed Kitty Kasa and I love to sleep there.  Being in an enclosed bed makes me feel safe.  When I was tiny, I would snuggle myself under my blankets.  It’s just my favorite place to sleep.  I do spend lots of time playing, pouncing, and running, but eventually I do run out of energy.

If you are looking for a feisty feline friend with lots of energy, I am your perfect pet.  I am not a snuggle bug yet.  I just have too much energy for that.  I will let you pick me up and pat me, but then I want to play!  So if you’re looking for a fun-loving companion, I am your kitten.  Just make an appointment to come meet me.
