Get to know Mars
Mars is extremely playful and will chase virtually anything that gives him cause; toys, laser pointers, other cats, feet under blankets, and birds just to name a few. He’s also endlessly curious about the resident cat, and the two lead each other on merry chases several times a day. He was instantly rubbing against my leg, taking belly rubs, and investigating the resident cat.Mars is fine with being picked up, and even responds (somewhat) when you try to call him over. He is also fond of Netflix and chill time, and will routinely snuggle up right next to his foster dad’s head while watching a movie in bed. As for the sleeping arrangements, Mars splits his time at night between the human bed and his safe spot, which is the closet.
Mars would do well as a solo cat or with others, and is very comfortable around children. He is still quite young and rambunctious, however, and mixing him in with the resident cat has decidedly reduced the morning zen levels in his foster home. Mars would also likely take several days to a week to adjust to new surroundings, so a bit of patience would be required by his new owners. Overall he is a fabulous cat, and patiently awaits your interest in bringing him to his new forever home!
