Get to know Papa

Meet Papa a gorgeous 7-year-old silver blue tabby he was rescued from a feral cat colony after living outside for his entire life almost 5 years. He was the father to many kittens in the feral colony and his foster Mom rescued him along with his kittens. Normally you hear of a Mom cat being with her kittens but this time it was the Papa cat caring for his kittens. He was not feral at all. He had been dumped as a friendly cat. He had learned to survive. He’s shy and scared of new people because he came from the streets & he’s also cautions so he may hiss at first because he’s unsure. With time he will warm up. Especially during the feeding times, specifically wet food, he warms up. Once he’s comfortable and goes on the bed you can pet him. He will start to purr and make biscuits.

He would do best as an only cat. He does get along with the dog in the house. So he could get along with dogs after a proper slow introduction. Apply to adopt today!
