Get to know Rhapsody
Meet Rhapsody, the cutest spunkiest little tortoiseshell kitten with a pink spot on her nose and a perfect line under her chin with half black/cream fur. We love the orange spot on her head. She has overcome so much. She was rescued from the shelter at only four weeks old with a broken leg. The vet wanted to amputate at the shelter. Dream stepped in to save her and we decided we were going to find a vet who could save her leg. After weeks of Having her leg in special baby kitten splints and a baby cast her leg has healed. She is so excited to be able to run and play.
We wanted to make any applicant aware that the leg that was broken & healed makes her walk a little funny. She may develop arthritis eventually and she may need meds as she ages to control any pain or stiffness.
It doesn’t slow her down but she needs to be monitored closely for the next couple of months.
We are hoping everything will be just fine but if she starts to roll that foot under again or it seems to be bothering her there is a possibility it could need to be amputated. That is small but a reality.
