    Beautiful Chicago was rescued by DREAM Animal Rescue from the East Valley Shelter in Los Angeles.  She had been dumped there with an enlarged abdomen.  It was determined she had a large mass on her spleen and her body was filling with fluid.  She would die without treatment.  After consulting with our emergency veterinarian, it was determined that the only way to save her life was to remove the spleen.  there were concerns that the mass could be cancer and her life expectancy would be cut short.  During the surgery it was discovered that some of the lymph nodes were also not looking normal so they were removed as well. …

  • Help Puma and Dusk!

    NEW FUNDRAISER! Puma and Dusk came to DREAM with some pretty serious medical and dental issues. Both kitties have horrible mouth infections and require several extractions and deep cleanings. They have to receive care from a specialist in veterinarian dental services, which can be quite costly. On top of that, Puma has skin infections and Dusk has diabetes and needs insulin shots twice a day as well as special food. We are hoping that after Dusk receives dental care, it may actually resolve some of her diabetes issues. Between both kitties, estimated costs are around $5,000.00!
