What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Media:
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Upon completion of your adoption, we may use your image on our website, facebook page and/or instagram account to communicate a successful adoption to our users.
Contact Form:
Information collected on our contact form is saved on our GDPR WordPress server, This information is only used to assist in communication with you in the event that you ask for that communication. Once the communication you requested has concluded, this information is removed from our servers. This data is never shared or sold to any third party and only used for business purposes within DREAM Animal Rescue.
User Registration Form:
User registration information is collect for internal website data only. Only DREAM Animal Rescue members may register. Non-DREAM Animal Rescue members who register for the site are not approved and deleted from our servers. This data is used to distinguish users credentials and restricted role abilities. We have several registered roles on our site including, Volunteer, Manager, and Admin. This data is used to personalize our site based on your role. This information is stored our our GDPR WordPress server for as long as you remain a registered user of our site. This data is never shared or sold to any third party and only used for business purposes within DREAM Animal Rescue.
Subscriptions Form:
Subscription form data is collect to provide a service to our users who have requested it through a double-opt in process. This form requires following a link emailed to you as a consent to collect this data. This data is used to send out marketing and/or fundraising information to our users including our blog postings and newsletter emails. This information is stored on our GDPR WordPress server for as long as you remain in our subscription program. All emails sent to the user include an Opt Out link to be removed from our subscriptions. Once removed, your data will be removed from our servers.
Applications and Contracts:
Data collected off of all applications and contracts available on this site are stored on our GDPR WordPress server. This information is not sold or shared to any third party ever. The data from our applications and contracts are also stored in hard copy format in secure offline files within the DREAM Animal Rescue offices. The data collected from these applications and contracts are stored on our servers for 12 months and permanently stored offline based on legal regulations pertaining to all animal rescue groups. While we legally can not delete this information, we will never share any of this information with any third party. This does not include any data we are obliged to share for administrative, legal, or security purposes: includes all applications and contracts.
Third Party Content:
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes: includes all applications and contracts. Upon request, this data will be permanently deleted from our servers, but will remain in our offline files.
